Very very happy to see this site and your great info on oxalates with the values. I have not been able to figure out how much of what to eat–just frustrated. some sites have gram next to the food and the top of the sheet would say between 0-2 mg per serving or 2-10 mg per serving. Did not know how to add them up for the day. Your site is helping me understand a little better. More doctor’s need to link people up with good info., instead of just saying you need to go on a low oxalate diet for your recurrent kidney stones. Thank God you are a caring person – God Bless You

Love your blog and have bookmarked several recipes! I’m new to Low Ox diet and trying to find safe and fairly low-medium glycemic replacements. (No more nuts..)
I LOVE these! They taste almost buttery and even though they are not really fluffy the taste so good it doesn’t matter. In fact since they’re so moist I don’t need as much topping. I used just 1 tablespoon of my half maple syrup/half glycerine topping for 2 servings (I halved your recipe for 6 little pancakes).
I also added 1/2 tsp of pure vanilla and some coconut flakes.

I find I sometimes have to make an extra side dish or two in order to appease picky eaters and my dietary needs, but most of the time we are eating the same foods. Good luck. I hope you triumph!
BTW, we just went apple picking, too, so I’ll probably have a few new apple recipes to post soon.

I have tons of apples in the house as we just went apple picking so we try to incorporate apples as much as possible. I am just starting out with the low oxalate diet (kidney stones) but I am determined to keep family meals to 1 meal and not make separate meals for just me.
