Thank you so much for this blessed site and the yummy recipes. I do have an ice cream maker to make my own sorbets, so this will be an easy recipe to follow.
I am doing this new diet due to kidney issues that are not serious “yet”, but a change in my current diet will certainly save me. I eat whole fresh foods anyway and have done so for a very long time. I just had my 60th birthday! I am sad to loose nuts and potatoes as these have been a staple for me, but I also understand the need to change, so I am willing to accept this new diet.
What I need now more than anything is a list of low oxalate foods that I can count on as true. I have yet to find a reliable list. There are many lists out there and they are not all the same. I drink hemp milk and that is not on any list, nor is quinoa. Also I am not sure yet about chia and flax seeds. I am happy to know coconut is ok as that is another staple for me.
Thank you for you!
Lee
